Forensic evaluations

The main task of the clinic is to conduct forensic evaluations. In 2021, the clinic received approx. 600 requests from the Danish Prosecution Service to prepare reports of forensic (psychiatric) evaluations.

Research

Because of its special and very distinctive service, the Clinic of Forensic Psychiatry has a tradition of conducting research. A number of publications have been produced by employees of the clinic.

Organisation

The Clinic of Forensic Psychiatry is an institution under the Danish Ministry of Justice and is administratively under the control of the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Employees at the clinic are psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, administrative and security staff.
